Ceri and myself have been shimming around the burlesque scene in and Cardiff for the last 8 years. We both perform, teach, produce shows, inspire our burly buddies and generally cause mayhem!  We are lucky to have a wonderfully supportive community here in Wales and slowly over the years our worlds collided.

 

In the autumn of 2014 we decided to produce the UK's first International Cabaret Festival.

Winter 2014/15 was packed full of concept meetings, venue meetings, website meetings, business meetings, tech meetings, meetings about meetings!

Eventually we found a wonderful venue partner in the shape of Sherman Cymru.

 

Ceri was able to use her influence as a well traveled and well loved performer to secure appearances from some of Europe's most popular names in the Cabaret scene.  Slowly the weekend took shape and we have in store for you a whole range of performance artists, stall holders, workshop leaders and interactive events.
